Meet Dan
The Above Average personal training program is highly individualized, researched, proven and effective. This is not a one-size-fits-all program but a trainer building customized and personal programs for each client.
With the personal attention I give to each of my clients, I’m able to develop a unique, strategic training program for each client, based on their individual strengths, goals and fitness levels. I have a large range of clients, from competitive athletes, to retired seniors, to business executives, to teens. In my studio, I focus on strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and agility. I also work with many people that have or have had an injury. My vast knowledge of the human body helps me to strengthen the area of injury in a safe and pain-free way. There is no greater joy than watching one of my clients strive and achieve a goal.
In addition to the physical aspect of my personal training, I also focus on nutrition with my clients. Health is a combination of physical fitness and nutrition. In my opinion, physical fitness compliments a healthy diet. As a certified nutritionist, I will work with you to devise a meal plan specific to your needs.
Many of the clients I work with are long-term clients achieved by referral. Those who have worked with me, achieve results and keep coming back. You won’t feel like you’re doing the same routine over and over again. I keep it fresh, I keep it challenging and you will see results.
Meet Drew
My journey into fitness coincided with my time participating in athletics at the high school and collegiate levels. I’ve always had a passion for fitness and resistance training, and when the opportunity came to utilize that passion into my career path, I could not resist the urge to do so.
My experiences over the last decade include being an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level, a head high school strength and conditioning coach, powerlifter and powerlifting coach, and also a personal trainer. My client base has ranged from professional athletes to common people looking to better themselves, to persons with physical disabilities, and much more.
My ultimate goal is to help people achieve their goals by firstly improving their overall movement and the movement patterns associated with fitness and everyday life. I’m a firm believer that if you can move better, everything else tends to fall into place.
